Preparing Odesa's Beaches for Summer
This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, during a television broadcast.
According to him, the order to start preparing the beaches for the summer season has already been signed. Officials are collaborating with military and emergency services. The main goal is to check for shelters, ensure the safety of areas from naval mines, and identify zones where swimming can be safe.
«There is no point in restricting people. They should be able to relax, rejuvenate, get vitamin D, and relieve stress. Odesa is alive, and this is important not only for locals but for the entire country», – said Kiper.
He also mentioned that thorough beach preparation is vital for the development of tourism in Odesa.
