Trial of Ex-MP's Wife for High Treason
The wife of a pro-Russian former MP will be tried for high treason after establishing an IT company in Moscow that has developed software for the Russian military and intelligence services since 2014.
This was reported by the Odesa regional prosecutor's office.
The investigation revealed that the wife of a former Ukrainian MP, who fled to Russia in 2014, founded a company in Moscow in the IT sector. This company has been creating software for enterprises and institutions associated with the Russian government, the Ministry of Defense, and intelligence services. In 2023, the company implemented software for military helicopters including Mi-26, Mi-35M, Mi-28N “Night Hunter”, and KA-52 “Alligator”, which are used in the armed aggression against Ukraine.
At the request of prosecutors, the real estate of the accused has been seized. Currently, luxury property and land in Odesa have been transferred to the management of ARMA. The accused is wanted and will be tried in absentia.
