Odesa Teaches Tolerance Early: “We Are Just Like Everyone” Held at White Acacia
From May 19 to 25, 2025, Ukraine will host Inclusion Week.
Educational institutions will hold various activities aimed at increasing awareness among students about barrier-free concepts and fostering a tolerant attitude towards individuals with disabilities: inclusion lessons, communication hours, workshops, friendly meetings and tea gatherings, video presentations, thematic exhibitions, dance classes, and masterclasses where students can creatively express their understanding of barrier-free environments.
On May 19, a friendly meeting titled “We Are Just Like Everyone Else” took place at the Odesa Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity “White Acacia”.
Participants and guests engaged in masterclasses, intellectual entertainment games, and planting indoor plants.
