Tragic Loss: Odessa Hero Killed in Action
During a combat mission in the Bakhmut direction, soldier Dmitro Yaremchuk from Odessa was killed at the age of 44. The farewell ceremony will take place tomorrow, April 4.
In the Southern community, it was reported that Senior Sergeant Dmitro Yaremchuk served as a machine gunner in the mechanized battalion of military unit A0666. He lost his life on March 4 of this year near the settlement of Pivnichne in the Donetsk region.
"We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dmitro's family, his loved ones, and comrades. Eternal memory to the defender of Ukraine who gave his life for our homeland!"
On April 4, a day of mourning has been declared in the community. In a sign of mourning, we ask for flags to be lowered at homes and community buildings."
