Rising Electricity Consumption in Ukraine
For the third consecutive day, electricity consumption is rising in Ukraine.
This is reported by "Ukrenergo".
According to their data, on April 9th at 9:30 AM, the level of electricity consumption was 1.1% higher than at the same time the previous day — Tuesday.
The company explains that the reason for this is the continued cold weather across Ukraine, including nighttime frosts.
It is noted that on April 8th, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening, which was 2% higher than the maximum of the previous day — Monday, April 7th.
"Today, there is a continued need for energy conservation. Please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM," emphasized "Ukrenergo".
It is worth reminding:
In Ukraine, as a result of significant temperature drops on the morning of April 7th, electricity consumption exceeded the level of the previous working day by 16% — April 4th.
On April 8th, electricity consumption remained at a high level. As of 9:30 AM, the level of electricity consumption was 2.3% higher than at the same time the previous day — Monday.
"Ukrenergo" has refuted information about the possible return of electricity cuts.
