Collaborative Efforts to Preserve Health in Ukraine
Six regions of Ukraine have embarked on a new phase of collaboration to safeguard public health.
A crucial meeting of health department leaders from Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Vinnytsia took place in Odesa.
As the country fights for its future, we are establishing not just horizontal cooperation but also forming a unified medical space, where the primary value is human life.
This is not merely a symbol of unity; it is a practical tool for:
- organizing interregional medical evacuation;
- creating a unified information system for data exchange;
- redistributing resources in times of critical pressure;
- developing specialized medical care — from transplantation to complex cardiac surgeries.
The healthcare system in these six regions has already proven its effectiveness, even in the context of full-scale war. Today, our doctors are jointly performing heart surgeries, saving cancer patients, implementing innovative approaches, and providing psychological support to their colleagues.
New challenges lie ahead. But we know that together, we can overcome anything. Together for life and victory!
