Urban Improvement Efforts in Odesa
Last week, Odesa's municipal services were actively engaged in urban improvement efforts, focusing on streets, parks, and courtyards. They also worked to maintain the sanitary standards of city facilities and utilities. Specialists from housing and communal services conducted various internal works as requested by residents.
The municipal enterprise «City Roads» carried out scheduled cleaning of bus stops, mechanized and manual cleaning of designated areas, and clearing grates of fallen leaves. Additionally, they cleaned the stormwater drainage systems throughout the city.
The enterprise «City Green Trust» focused on maintaining green areas by sweeping pathways, cleaning lawns of debris and fallen leaves, trimming shrubs, and removing hazardous trees. Planting of chrysanthemums was also ongoing, and on Saturdays, the gardeners clean the rotunda in the City Garden.
Housing and communal service specialists worked on requests from residents to resolve emergency situations in utilities and conducted planned roof repairs, basement and attic cleanings, among other tasks.
Furthermore, efforts to mitigate the aftermath of the heavy rain, which severely affected Rybalska Balka Street and surrounding areas, were ongoing.
Every week, municipal workers hold sanitary days to tidy up abandoned territories.
The municipal enterprise «Service Center» continues its work on winterizing city fountains.
