Odessa Prepares for the Heating Season
The heating season in Odessa is about to begin. The specialists of the utility company «Residential Services» are diligently preparing the internal heating systems for operation.
Right after the last heating season ended in spring 2024, the utility company «Residential Services» started getting ready for the 2024-2025 heating season.
As part of the preparation, repair and maintenance work on the heating equipment is being done, and issues found in hydraulic and thermal regimes are being addressed.
Additionally, cleaning of equipment, verification and restoration of thermal insulation, as well as sealing of engineering inputs are being conducted.
The specialists have completed hydraulic tests of the central heating systems, adjusted the heating consumption systems, and carried out several necessary tasks to ensure the reliable operation of heating in residential buildings.
After completing all repair and maintenance work, the systems will be filled with chemically purified water under a pressure of 0.5 kgf/cm² above static, and the valves will be closed.
With the start of the heating season, the plumbers from the residential services will sequentially open the valves in the buildings, which usually takes some time, after which heat will start to flow into the residents' homes.
