Ukrainian Boxers Shine at European Muay Thai Championship

From November 7 to 14, the European Muay Thai Championship took place in Pristina (Republic of Kosovo).

The national team of Ukraine featured athletes from the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 7, including Nikita Kuts, Bohdan Studnev (coaches Anna Avakova and Volodymyr Pishenin), and Dmytro Zanin (coach Volodymyr Pishenin), alongside athletes from Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 16, Elina Perstnyova (coach Maksym Neledva) and Valerii Denysov (coach Pavlo Yevtushenko).

Odesa athletes Nikita Kuts (54 kg) and Bohdan Studnev (60 kg) became European champions among adults. Valerii Denysov was unable to finish his final match due to injury and took home a silver medal. Dmytro Zanin (60 kg) also won a silver medal in the youth category.

In the overall team standings among adults, the national team of Ukraine secured the first place, while in the overall rankings of all groups, they finished second.

This year, Nikita Kuts became the world champion among youth and juniors.
