Ukrainian Billiards Championship: A Comeback in Odesa
The Ukrainian billiards championship in the «Dynamic Pyramid» discipline has commenced in Odesa. The competition includes both young and adult players from 12 regions, totaling 59 participants. The youngest athletes were born in 2015.
After a five-year hiatus, the tournament has returned to Odesa.
«I am very pleased that Odesa is reviving the development of billiards. It is a beautiful and intellectual game. I especially want to thank the organizers - despite the ongoing war, we are creating opportunities for children's development and their participation in competitions of various levels,» said Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov.
The mayor wished the participants victory and the fans thrilling and spectacular matches.
