Ukrainian Synchronised Swimming Championship: New Achievements
From December 14 to 17, the Ukrainian team championship in synchronised swimming was held in the capital city.
75 athletes representing 8 teams from Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa regions, and Kyiv competed for the title of champions.
Among the participants was the Odesa team, consisting of athletes from the Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve «Chornomorets» — Vladyslava Kocherba, Yelizaveta Syedova, Sofia Sarukhanyan, and Yuliya Rerak.
Vladyslava Kocherba became a four-time champion of Ukraine, securing first places in the technical, free, and acrobatic groups. She also won the championship among soloists in the technical program.
Kocherba is a member of the national team of Ukraine.
The bronze medals in the technical duets were won by Yuliya Rerak and Sofia Sarukhanyan, while Yelizaveta Syedova and Yuliya Rerak received bronze in the free duets.
Sofia Sarukhanyan became a silver medalist twice in the technical and free programs among soloists.
The athletes were trained by the honored coach of Ukraine, Olha Nikolaychuk.
