Adaptive Sports for Veterans in Odessa

In the city of Odessa, adaptive sports for veterans are being actively developed. In 2024, around 200 training sessions are planned with the participation of the disability sports club 'Odessa-Basket'.

Veterans have been particularly engaged in training sessions for sports billiards (97 sessions) and wheelchair basketball (35 sessions).

Additionally, there are classes in golf, table tennis, boxing, diving, and kayaking. The involvement of veterans in amputee football has also begun.

Odessa's veterans participated in the world championship for athletes with disabilities in billiards in Los Angeles, as well as in the national competitions for adaptive sports billiards and wheelchair basketball.

Odessa takes pride in the resilience and spirit of its defenders.
