Boxing Tournament in Odesa: Young Champions Shine
From October 20 to 25, Odesa hosted a national boxing tournament for youth and junior women, honoring the memory of the esteemed sports master Semen Trestin.
More than a hundred young athletes participated in this event, which was revived after a six-year hiatus.
Arthur Prodan, a student from Sports School No. 8, competed in the 70 kg weight class, winning all three of his matches and securing first place, thus earning the title of 'Master of Sports of Ukraine.'
Ivan Karpov, also from Sports School No. 8, took home a bronze medal in the 60 kg category and achieved the candidate master of sports standard.
The athletes were coached by Vladimir Osipchuk, Dmitry Boboshko, and Igor Gordienko.
