Invictus Games: A Winter Challenge for Veterans

Let’s introduce another participant from Odesa.
Illia Pylypenko, a naval soldier of the Armed Forces, veteran. He sustained injuries in September 2022 due to a tank explosion on a mine near Bilohirka, Kherson region.
«I am currently promoting the veteran movement in Odesa. I enjoy life. I swim in the sea. I’ve started to appreciate small details and joys. Sometimes I feel like a child. After training, I enter the sea with so much joy, it’s comparable to the relief of being able to wash after a week in a tank», – shares Illia Pylypenko.
