Football Tournament Honoring Ukraine's Heroes
On May 30, a football tournament was held in Yas'ky village of the Odesa region to honor the memory of 12 heroes who sacrificed their lives for our country.
This event served not only as a tribute to the heroes but also as a symbol of unity and resilience of our people.
Special thanks for supporting the organization of the tournament:
- the head of the "Terent'ev" charity fund - Roman Terent'ev;
- the head of the Odesa RDA - Oleksandr Hrynchak;
- the director of the charity organization "It Matters" - Denys Zharkov.
Thanks to these individuals, the event brought together the community, families of the fallen, youth, and athletes.
As part of the event, a football tournament titled
"Community Heroes Cup" was held, featuring:
- FC «Mayaky» - the team comprised servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine from Odesa;
- the Yas'ky community team;
- the team from Bilyaivka.
Football on this day was more than just a game — it was a living memory of those who gave their all for our peaceful skies. We sincerely thank all participants, organizers, and guests who shared this important day with us.
During the event, families of fallen defenders were presented with 12 awards, sadly posthumously...
