Ukrainian Acrobatics Championship in Lviv
From December 12 to 15, Lviv hosted the Ukrainian acrobatics championship dedicated to the memory of the esteemed coach Oleksii Cherniavyi.
More than 400 athletes from nine regions of Ukraine and Kyiv showcased their talents.
Among the participants were students from Odessa's Youth Sports Schools No. 1 and No. 3, who competed as a combined team.
In the candidates for master of sports category among women's groups, the second place was taken by Sofia Puzdrach, Alina Fesyk, and Anna Lutsker. Among the women's pairs, Polina Melnyk and Renata Rodchenko secured bronze medals.
The winners of the 1st grade program were the athletes from Odessa, Artur Aloiarov and Volodymyr Kucherenko.
In the 2nd grade program, the winning female pair consisted of Oleksandra Lystopad and Zlata Pustova, with Odessa's Kateryna Khorostiana and Anna Kilivnyk taking second place.
In the 3rd grade category, Odessa's pair Victoria Akopyan and Nikole Naumenko achieved second place.
In the individual performances for the 1st youth grade, second place was won by Polina Bukhanko, while Maria Kikhai was victorious in the 2nd youth grade program.
In the pairs competition for the 3rd youth grade, silver medals were claimed by the women's pair Arina Minina / Myroslava Slyusarenko and the men's pair Ruslan Fesyk / Daniil Bilyi.
The athletes were trained by coaches Olena Roshynets, Oksana Kopecka, and Tamara Zahrebielna.
