Outstanding Achievements of Odesa Wushu Athletes at the Ukrainian Championship
From March 28 to 30, the Ukrainian Wushu Championship for adults, juniors, and youth took place in Brovary (Kyiv region).
There were 180 athletes competing from 10 different regions of Ukraine.
The representatives from Odesa were students of the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 1, known as traditional favorites in this sport.
All participants from Odesa returned home with medals, securing a total of 40 awards: 10 gold, 19 silver, and 11 bronze.
The athletes were trained by coaches Leonid Borysov, Hanna Borysova, and Daria Metka.

Sport wushu is a discipline based on traditional Chinese martial arts, featuring both full-contact matches and choreographed performances.
