U-17 Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship
From April 4 to 6, the U-17 Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship took place in Khmelnytskyi.
This event served as a qualifier for the European Championship scheduled for June in Italy.
Gold medalist and European Championship qualifier, Herman Basarab (48 kg), is a member of the Odesa Wrestling Federation, competing for the Greek club, the Olympian Sports School, and Dynamo.
Another Odesa representative, Danilo Dragulian, claimed a silver medal in the 65 kg category after a tough final against a Kharkiv athlete, earning a spot on the Ukrainian national team.
Both athletes were prepared by experienced coaches — Viktor Synyavskyi and Oleksandr Hraban.
