Highlights from the Ukrainian Wushu Championship
From April 4 to 8, the Ukrainian Wushu Championship was held in Brovary (Kyiv region) for adults, juniors, and youth (sanda light).
About 200 athletes from 10 regions of Ukraine participated in the competition.
Odessa was represented by students from the Complex Children's and Youth Sports School No. 1.
As a result of the competitions, the champions of Ukraine were Marina Yazikova, Valeria Blagodyr, Irina Mizina, and Erika-Yuliana Chen.
The bronze medal was awarded to Alexander Oliynyk. Among the older juniors, the silver medal was claimed by Ivan Aheyev.
The Odessa team took first place in the overall standings.
