International Trampoline Tournament in Jablonec: Ukrainian Athletes Shine
From October 11 to 14, 2024, the international trampoline tournament «Friendship Cup» took place in Jablonec, Czech Republic. The competition featured 380 athletes from 12 countries.
The Ukrainian national team included talented athletes from the Odessa Youth Sports School No. 1 - Sofia Alarova and Veronika Pyatakova.
Coached by Regina Brailova and Lilia Zakolodyazhna, the girls earned three medals at the tournament.
Sofia Alarova achieved an impressive second place in the individual event, showcasing a remarkable combination and receiving her career-best score of 53.410 points. She finished just behind Jessica Stevens from the USA, who won bronze at last year's World Championship (54.600).
In the synchronized jumps, the duo of Alarova and Pyatakova initially placed 7th in qualifications (43.750), but their outstanding performance in the final secured them bronze medals (46.050).

In the Youth Sports School No. 1, there are 54 young athletes training in trampoline jumping.
