This biopic has become a testament to the search for truth, beauty, and the spirit of the era. It is symbolic that we filmed this piece in Odesa and Kyiv — the places where it all began.
Every scene is a recreation of the past, showcasing love for Ukrainian cinema and the director, who viewed the world as an artist, creating like a true master. Dovzhenko didn’t merely film; he lived his films.
We aimed to do the same: navigate this journey under challenging conditions, but with unwavering faith in the power of Ukrainian cinema.

The premiere is scheduled for 2026 — coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the director's work at the Odesa Film Studio.
