New Photography Exhibition in Odesa: Opening and Charity
A unique photography exhibition titled «Open Views» has been launched at the «House with an Angel» in Odesa, featuring works from participants of the NGO «Fund for Special Youth of Ukraine» and members of the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Union of Photographic Artists of Ukraine.
The project includes fourteen photographers with special needs, participants of the «Photography School» initiative supported by the Jewish Volunteer League, as well as six renowned Odesa photographers. All photographs are displayed in pairs, combining the works of beginners and professional artists.
«A lot is being done in Odesa today to create an inclusive environment. Creativity also breaks down barriers and allows people with special needs to develop their talents and share their perspective on life with society. All the photographic works are incredibly talented and offer viewers a chance to engage with true art,» — noted Olena Kytainska, Director of the Department of Labor and Social Policy of the Odesa City Council.
The exhibition opening also featured a charity auction of photographs by well-known authors to support the inclusive theater «Tolerance» of the Fund for Special Youth of Ukraine. Theater participants performed a creative act and received commemorative diplomas.
The exhibition «Open Views» will be open until April 25 at the exhibition hall of the «House with an Angel» located at: Italian St. (Pushkinska), 51.
