Innovative Safety Project for Children in Ukraine

A new initiative has been launched in Ukraine to enhance children's awareness of safety, supported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

This project includes specially equipped vehicles designed to educate children and teenagers on safety fundamentals.

Mobile safety classrooms have visited various schools, including Odesa Lyceum No. 100, where emergency service representatives held a session for 4th and 5th graders.

During these sessions, children were informed about the importance of adhering to safety rules in various situations, including mine and fire safety, traffic rules, and general safety practices in daily life.

Such initiatives help instill a sense of responsibility for personal and community safety among children. Instructors from the State Emergency Service and the National Police use interactive teaching methods to make the lessons more engaging.

This project is implemented with the support of UNICEF in Ukraine.
