Safety Training for Children in Odessa Kindergartens
On August 20, 2025, instructors from the public organization «Association of Sappers of Ukraine» conducted training seminars for educators and children at Odessa preschool institutions No. 137 and 300, focusing on mitigating risks from mines and explosive objects.
The purpose of the event was to enhance the safety level for children and adults, instill safe behavior to avoid threats from mines and explosive devices, and outline actions to take during shelling.
The public organization «Association of Sappers of Ukraine» implements humanitarian projects in the field of mine action, particularly educating the population on preventing risks from mines and explosive objects. The organization is running the project "Capacity Building in Ukraine, including non-technical land surveying and risk mitigation from explosive devices” in partnership with The Mines Advisory Group (MAG), funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
