Festive Celebrations in the City's Educational Institutions
In connection with the Christmas and New Year festivities, various celebratory events are traditionally organized in the city's educational institutions.
For instance, kindergartens conducted themed activities titled «The Christmas Star at the Door», where children immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere, learned about the traditions of Christmas Eve, and even recreated some of them.
Additionally, musical and literary entertainments were organized for the little ones, focusing on holiday traditions in Ukraine. The preschoolers, together with their teachers, sang traditional Ukrainian carols, danced in circles, prepared decorations for the festivities, and crafted Christmas stars and charms.
Moreover, exhibitions of drawings titled «Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!» were held in the kindergartens.
At the Odessa Children's Home «Perlynka», «Ukrainian Evenings» took place. The children made dumplings and cooked kutya. Later, they all gathered at a festive table and received sweet gifts. After lunch, the children attended a performance called «In Search of Light».
At the Odessa Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity «White Acacia», a New Year performance titled «Dreams Come True» was held. Over 200 students - young actors, singers, and dancers - showcased their talents, providing the audience with incredible emotions and positive impressions.
As part of the «Warm Wave» initiative, students prepared letters for the defenders. These, along with treats, were sent to the hospital for wounded soldiers and defenders on the front lines.
