Achievements of Students from Odesa in the Physics Olympiad

Students from Odesa secured two silver and three bronze medals at the national physics olympiad. All winners are from Risheliev Scientific Lyceum, showcasing a high level of knowledge among 150 participants from various regions. This was reported by Oleksandr Lonchak, the director of the Odesa Regional Department of Education.

According to the competition results, II degree diplomas were awarded to Nazariy Vrashchuk (10th grade, competing for the 11th grade) and Yuriy Semenov-Hamarov (10th grade). The third place was taken by Kostyantyn Bordiian (9th grade), Dmytro Loshkaruk, and Lev Shevchenko (8th grade). One of the winners, Nazariy Vrashchuk, also received an invitation to the selection training camps for the Ukrainian national team to participate in the International Physics Olympiad.

The contribution of the physics teachers from Risheliev Lyceum – Andrii Katz, Vadym Manakin, and Oksana Kolesnikova, who prepared the prizewinners for the competitions, was also highlighted.
