New Exhibit Unveiled in Odessa
A new exhibit titled «Alley of Heroes» has been launched in Odessa to honor the memory of the war victims and to express gratitude to all cities that stood strong against the enemy.
The 15 columns represent Ukrainian cities that were among the first to experience the full-scale aggression. On the pedestals are fragments of missiles and shells, with plaques indicating the number of enemy strikes on each specific city.
If one leans in to look at the mirrored plaque, they can see their own reflection with symbolic scars from missiles. These scars reside in the heart of every Ukrainian.
The exhibit was organized by the public organization «Dobrobat» with support from the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and the National Joint Stock Company «Naftogaz of Ukraine».
The author of the exhibit is the renowned sculptor Yan-Pavlo Roman.
The exhibit has previously been showcased in cities such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia.
