Drug Dealer Arrested in Odesa
In a recent operation, Odesa police apprehended a 41-year-old man suspected of dealing methamphetamine. The incident occurred at the end of January when authorities documented the sale of drugs outside the suspect's residence. During the search, psychoactive substances and other items relevant to the investigation were discovered.
According to police reports, cash obtained from drug sales was also confiscated from the offender. Additionally, during a sanctioned search of his property, another package containing an unknown substance and equipment for packaging drugs were found. All seized substances will undergo testing.
Senior investigator Olena Ditsul stated that the suspect has been charged under Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to eight years in prison. The court has imposed a pre-trial detention order with the option for bail. The investigation is being overseen by the Bilayaivka District Prosecutor's Office, and efforts are underway to identify other individuals involved in drug trafficking.
