Funding for Social Initiatives in 2025
Approximately 80% of the budget will be allocated to support healthcare, education, and other vital social sectors.
In second place is the funding for defense forces and the restoration of infrastructure affected by the aggression from the Russian Federation (over half a billion hryvnias).
Key focus areas will also include support for veterans and internally displaced persons, economic development, job creation, attracting investments, building shelters, enhancing social services, assisting businesses, and modernizing municipal services.
In 2025, a priority will be the implementation of state programs «eOselya» and «Affordable Loans 5-7-9» to provide our citizens with housing. Additionally, the program for compensating 3% annual interest on mortgage loans for defense forces personnel will continue.
For the implementation of regional programs, the draft regional budget for 2025 allocates over 630 million UAH, including 313.4 million UAH for the «Health of Odesa Region» program, 20 million UAH planned for the support of defenders of Ukraine, and over 41 million UAH for the «Social Protection of the Population in Odesa Region» program.
