New Child Care Center Opens in Bessarabskie
A new Child Care Center named «Bessarabian Fortress» will open in Bessarabskie. It will serve as a safe haven for children aged 5 to 14 from large, displaced, and vulnerable families. This news was shared by the Bessarabskie village council of the Bolhrad district.
At the center, children will not only play and learn but also receive support from psychologists and speech therapists, prepare for school, and make new friends — all in a gadget-free environment.
The project is being implemented with the support of the international charity organization SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine, within the framework of the «Emergency Assistance Program», in collaboration with the NGO «Culture of Democracy» and the Bessarabskie village social service center.
While the children are under the care of educators, parents will have the opportunity to focus on their own needs — finding work, visiting doctors, or addressing other issues.
The center will also host special meetings for parents to help them better understand their children, support them, and build trusting relationships.
«Bessarabian Fortress» represents a step towards a stronger community through caring for children and their future.
