Attack on Residential Area in Odesa: Consequences and Assistance
This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.
The enemy targeted residential buildings in a densely populated area of Odesa. Numerous apartments were damaged, and three schools lost over 90 windows. At least three individuals were injured.
Oksana Buinevich, head of the city’s department of education, warns about the danger for children after the overnight shelling:
«Please talk to your children again: do not touch any suspicious objects on the ground. Adults might post pictures online, but it will be difficult for children to understand why this is dangerous».
Currently, all relevant services are working on addressing the aftermath of the Russian attacks.
An operational headquarters of the district administration will be set up in the morning, where consultations will be provided on how to submit documents for financial assistance to restore windows and doors, as well as receive compensation from the state budget under the eRecovery program.
«Additionally, our reliable partners – public and charitable organizations – will provide assistance to people by supplying kits for temporarily sealing window openings», the city council reported.
