Child Safety: Rules and Professions
Law enforcement conducts activities in schools and local districts. These events take the form of games, lessons, and excursions.
Recently, in Odesa and surrounding areas, police officers engaged with children about road safety, home security, and the importance of recognizing dangerous situations.
Kids learned to identify traffic signs, safely cross streets, and ensure visibility in the dark with reflective materials.
Officers also reminded everyone that due to the war, hazardous items could be found anywhere. If such items are discovered, they should not be touched but reported to emergency services or police.
Additionally, the importance of following safety rules at home was emphasized, such as not opening doors to strangers and avoiding dangerous household items.
Children were informed about the risks of interacting with strangers and learned the significance of protecting their personal information.
Many activities were dedicated to introducing children to law enforcement careers, where they observed daily police duties and participated in practical exercises.
These meetings foster respect for the law and promote a sense of responsibility.
