According to a statement from UZ: "Odesa and its rail infrastructure were targeted by enemy fire last night. Fortunately, there were no casualties at work, but sadly, the attack claimed the life of a railway worker in their own home."

Details: The Russian strike also damaged a section of the railway. Specifically, the tracks, contact network, and three freight cars were affected.

"Railway workers are conducting urgent restoration work to ensure that freight trains can operate to the ports without disruption. Currently, they are taking alternative routes. Passenger trains are running on schedule," the Ukrzaliznytsia concluded.
