Revamping Outdoor Lighting Networks in Odessa
The specialists from the Municipal Enterprise «Odessmisksvitlo» have completed works on upgrading the outdoor lighting networks. Specifically, a damaged pole was replaced at the address: Ivan and Yuri Lip Street, 34.
Since the beginning of 2025, electricians have replaced a total of 14 street poles.
The technicians carried out the dismantling of the old pole and installed a new reinforced concrete pole along with light fixtures and cabling.
Replacing poles is a labor-intensive process, and special equipment (cranes) is involved in the work.

The specialists at «Odessmisksvitlo» regularly perform maintenance on the outdoor lighting of streets, parks, and squares, as well as address emergency situations.
Routine inspections of street lighting objects (poles, distribution cabinets, lights, etc.) are conducted to identify any malfunctioning elements or acts of vandalism.
The electricians also work on cable network re-tensioning, replacing outdated lights and brackets with new ones, pruning tree branches, and addressing emergency situations, among other tasks.
