Preparing Odesa for Winter: Key Measures
The Mayor of Odesa, Gennadiy Trukhanov, convened a meeting with leaders of essential energy enterprises in the city. The main focus was on preparing for the winter season.
According to reports from the enterprise leaders, preparations are nearing completion. All heating plants are ready to start, with only minor regulatory tasks remaining.
Additionally, 11 cogeneration units have been installed, and their connection is currently underway. By the end of the year, six more units are expected to be delivered in accordance with agreements with international partners.
Educational and medical institutions are equipped with alternative energy sources.
DTEK has prepared a stockpile of materials for emergencies and has a clear action plan in case of attacks on the energy infrastructure.
Representatives of «Odesagas» confirmed that there is enough gas for a stable heating season.
«We are facing another challenging winter, but we know how to endure!» - emphasized the Mayor of Odesa.
The city authorities continue to work on enhancing Odesa's energy resilience and urge residents to support each other and remain united in the face of challenges.
