Spring Preparation of Odesa's Fountains
The municipal services of Odesa have initiated preparations for the spring season of 2025. Specialists from the «Service Center» are engaged in the maintenance and launching of fountains, with the first one traditionally starting at the Theatre Square on April 1.
Currently, preparations are underway for the fountains located at Theatre Square, in Victory Park (the «Mermaid» fountain), in the Cosmonauts Square, at Soborna Square, and the largest fountain at the corner of Ak. Zabolotny Street and Krymsky Boulevard.
The reopening of the fountains is a phased process, and by the end of April, all fountains are expected to delight Odesa's residents with their beauty. Unfortunately, not all fountains will be operational under the current circumstances.
To preserve the fountain equipment during winter, functional elements such as nozzles, motors, and pump equipment have been dismantled and stored in designated areas.
Additionally, the team performs daily cleaning and maintenance tasks for the assigned territories.
Currently, ongoing repairs are being conducted in the water dispensing area and cleaning of the gutters at the public fountain complex located on I. Rabin Street.
Specialists are also working on the repair of the pavement and faucets in the water dispensing area of the public fountain complex situated in the Starobazar Square.
The employees of the «Service Center» ensure that the public fountains, non-architectural monuments, and other facilities are maintained throughout the year.
