Restoration of Housing Complex in Odesa
Odesa's Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov visited the housing complex at Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue, 32, at the invitation of the residents of the «White House» HOA.
On September 30, 2025, during severe weather, the parking lot of the complex was completely flooded, damaging the electrical, water, and heating systems, as well as the fire safety system of the 24-story building.
Thanks to the efforts of the energy sector, the building has received temporary electricity supply while the restoration is ongoing.
«We are grateful to the construction company “Stikon” for stepping in and purchasing electrical equipment for the building. Pumps are being installed to ensure water supply to the upper floors. I am assured and sincerely hope that water will return to residents by Thursday. However, full restoration of heating and fire safety systems will take more time», — said the mayor.
This building was damaged during enemy attacks in February. Additionally, a children's clinic and kindergarten were destroyed. Currently, projects for the restoration of these facilities are undergoing examination, and the demolition of the kindergarten has begun; a new facility is planned to be built in its place.
