Two Fires in Odesa: Casualties and Causes
In Odesa, two fires broke out within a day, one in a private house and the other in a summer kitchen. As a result of these incidents, three people were injured, with two of them requiring hospitalization. This was reported by the emergency services.
Last night in the Peresyp district, on Solyana Street, there was a fire involving household items in a one-story private residence. The fire was promptly extinguished. During the incident, a man and a woman (both born in 1953) were injured; the man was hospitalized while the woman declined medical assistance.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently being determined. The emergency services deployed 1 unit of equipment and 5 firefighters, along with 1 unit and 4 personnel from the Communal Diving and Rescue Service.
The second incident occurred in the Khadjibey district, on Kraiyna Street, where a fire in a summer kitchen broke out. This fire was also quickly extinguished.
«As a result of the fire, a man (born in 1961) was injured and hospitalized. The cause of the fire and the damage are currently being investigated. A total of 2 units of equipment and 8 firefighters were involved in the response,» the service stated.
