Autumn Greening in Odesa: New Trees and Shrubs
In Odesa, the greening works have commenced, led by the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest». This season, more than 1050 young trees are set to be planted. Specifically, 330 saplings will be planted on streets where old stumps have been removed (white acacia, maple, common ash, Japanese sophora, western plane tree).
This week, workers planted 9 sophora trees on the Ukrainian Heroes Avenue, and an additional 3 sophora trees have adorned the City Garden.
Additionally, in Istanbul Park, 70 cotoneaster bushes were planted. Overall, there are plans to plant over 1800 bushes across various districts of the city this autumn (burning bush, spirea, mahonia, forsythia).
