Green Initiatives in Odesa: New Plantings
Experts from the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» are actively engaged in the greening of Odesa. Recently, 80 miscanthus bushes were planted in the Heroes of the Border Guards Square.
A week ago, this plant beautified the Victory Park, where 200 bushes were planted.
This autumn, there are plans to plant 3,000 bushes of this perennial plant across various districts of the city.

Miscanthus is a decorative perennial grass that enhances spaces from spring to winter.
It forms lush bushes with long leaves that change color to yellow, brown, or red in autumn, while in summer it produces soft fluffy inflorescences.
This plant is undemanding, frost-resistant, and drought-tolerant once established.
