New Pedestrian Crossings in Odessa
In Odessa, 7 new pedestrian crossings have been established, featuring modern LED lighting. These crossings are located at the following addresses:
- 55, Simi Glodan St. (Ilf and Petrov);
- 24, Architektorska St.;
- 44/1, Yevgen Chikalensko (Ak. Williams) - Officer St.;
- 178/1, Yevgen Chikalensko (Ak. Williams);
- Melnytska St. - Mykhailivska St.;
- Bohdan Khmelnytsky St. - Prokhorivskyi Lane;
- 15, Starosinna Square.
Experts from the Municipal Enterprise "SMEP" are actively working to enhance road safety. As of January 1, 2024, there are 75 uncontrolled pedestrian crossings equipped with LED lighting under the management of the Municipal Enterprise "SMEP".
These LED lighting systems improve the visibility of pedestrians during twilight and nighttime, allowing drivers to better see pedestrians and significantly increasing the safety of all road users.
