Latest Updates on Odessa's Drinking Fountains

The municipal enterprise «Water Services» manages 16 drinking fountains located throughout the city of Odessa. The depth of the wells ranges from 111 to 149 meters.

On average, each fountain provides between 8 and 12 cubic meters of water during a working shift (from 08:00 to 20:00). The purified water from the wells is available to everyone.

Water quality tests are conducted monthly to ensure compliance with State sanitary standards.

On November 17, 2024, due to a massive attack on the country's energy sector, water and energy supply in Odessa were forced to cease. This caused significant pressure on the city's drinking fountains. On November 17 and 18, around 13,000 and 12,000 visitors, respectively, sought drinking water from the fountains.

Under normal conditions, approximately 10,000 visitors utilize 14 fountains in the city daily. Each fountain is equipped with an alternative power source in case of a power outage.

The fountains operate in all city districts at the following addresses:
25 Dalnytska St.;
14 Heavenly Hundred Ave.;
I. Rabin St.;
33 Lesya Ukrainka Ave. (Gagarin);
Volunteer St. (Marshal Govorov);
6th St. V. Fontana;

Inglesi St.;
Geraniieva St.;
Starobazarnyi Park;
1D Prosvity St.;

The fountains located in Mechnikov Park and on Yaroslav Mudry Ave. are currently closed for major repairs of the wells.
