Opening of National Sambo Tournament in Odesa
Yesterday, May 10th, the national sambo tournament was officially launched in Odessa, honoring the memory of the late president of the Odessa regional sambo federation, Oleksandr Adzelenko.
Over 100 participants from different cities of Ukraine attended the event. During the opening ceremony, the Odessa regional sambo federation, in collaboration with its partners, donated drones to the special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, named 'Artan', for operational tasks on the front lines. The tournament in memory of Oleksandr Adzelenko serves not only as a way to honor the coach but also as a vital platform for nurturing young athletes and promoting the national sport that combines technique, strength, and character.
