BIPA-Odesa-SDYUSSHOR-2 crowned champions of Ukraine's First Basketball League!
The Odessa team «BIPA-Odessa-SDYUSSHOR named after Litvak B.D.-2» has celebrated victory in the final of the Ukrainian Championship among First League teams, securing gold medals in the competition.
The final, held in the city of Pivdenne, featured a match between BIPA-2 and «Khmelnytskyi-2», which had previously defeated BC «Sumy» 74:66 in the quarterfinals.
The match concluded with a convincing win for the Odessa team, thanks to a strong performance in the second half: «Khmelnytskyi-2-DYUSSH-3» - «BIPA-Odessa-SDYUSSHOR named after Litvak B.D.-2» – 54:64 (18:15, 21:11, 1:17, 14:21).
The best player of the First League for the 2024/2025 season was awarded to Odessa athlete Mykhailo Rudyk, who received a special prize.
The gold medals were awarded to: Dmytro Solovey, Kyrylo Neamtsu, Mykhailo Rudyk, Maksym Volkov, Mykhailo Buzovskyi, Mykyta Makarov, Ivan Agbash, Valeriy Atabadze, Nikita Beshetia, Ivan Ivashchenko, Oleksandr Rudyk, Oleksiy Zhdanovych, doctor Volodymyr Haievskyi, physical training coach Volodymyr Bukhanov, director Serhiy Strazov, and head coach Oleksandr Ryabchuk, for whom this medal was the first in his coaching career.
