Odessa Region Cup in MMA: New Victories and Achievements
On December 6-7, 2024, an exciting Cup of the Odessa Region in mixed martial arts (MMA) took place, dedicated to the Security Forces of Southern Ukraine.
The tournament featured 214 athletes from the Odessa region, showcasing their best performances.
Members of the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 15 of Odessa garnered 17 medals, demonstrating excellent preparation and competitive spirit.
The winners in their respective weight and age categories included: Artem Hlushchak, Ilya Dyvynets, Mukhammed Ovan, Hlib Zadolinny, Artem Sinkov, Arthur Dokshakov, Victoria Morosenko, and Oleksandr Rybakov.
Silver medals were awarded to: Yaroslav Lahunov, Petro Polozovskyi, Ibrahim Ovan, Maksym Motyha, and Victoria Morosenko.
Bronze medalists included: Mykyta Leonov, Marat Dzhafarov, Daniil Markov, and Dmytro Tkach.
The athletes were trained by coaches Ruslan Hasanov, Andriy Solomanchuk, and Victoria Demidova.

The MMA department was opened at the Municipal Institution of Specialized Extracurricular Education «CYSS No. 15» in September 2023.
