Marta Kostyuk's Dominant Win in Rome

Marta Kostyuk (27) confidently advanced to the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome, defeating Filipino tennis player Alexandra Eala (70).

The match lasted 1 hour and 3 minutes, ending with a score of 6:0, 6:1 in favor of the Ukrainian.

A pivotal moment in the match was the first game, which lasted over ten minutes. Kostyuk managed to win it on her fifth break point, and after that, she played with great confidence. During the match, it was surprising how Eala reached the semifinals in Miami a month ago.

The only game Eala won occurred at 0:6, 0:4, remaining her sole success in the match.

Kostyuk has now won a set without dropping a game 11 times in her WTA main draw career, and she has won all 11 matches where it happened.

During the match, Marta served two aces, did not commit any double faults, and made 6 breaks. Her opponent did not serve any aces, made 2 errors on her serve, and had no break points.
