Ukrainian Athletes Shine at the Muay Thai World Championship
The Muay Thai World Championship has concluded in Turkey, featuring competitions in various categories such as Wai Kru and Muan Muay.
Irina Ladyneko, a coach from the Odesa Youth Sports School No. 7, successfully reached the finals.
The athlete from Odesa secured first place, surpassing all her competitors, and earned a license to participate in the upcoming European Games.
Additionally, Irina won a bronze medal in the S Female Wai Kru category.
Valeriy Denysov, a student from Odesa Youth Sports School No. 16, also claimed a bronze medal in the Youth Wai Kru division. He was coached by Pavlo Yevtushenko.
In the overall standings, the Ukrainian national team finished in second place, winning 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
