Match Schedule for Ukrainian Tennis Players at Wimbledon 2023
The draw for the main draw of the third Grand Slam tournament of the season – Wimbledon – has taken place. The first matches for our tennis players, including Elina Svitolina, Marta Kostyuk, Daria Yastremska, and Yulia Starodubtseva, have been determined.
Elina Svitolina (14) is seeded 14th and will face Anna Bondar (75, Hungary) in the first round. They met a month ago at Roland Garros, where the Ukrainian claimed victory in two tough sets.
Marta Kostyuk (26) is seeded 26th and will meet the qualifier winner, Veronika Erjavec (171, Slovenia), in her opening match. This will be their first encounter.
Daria Yastremska (41) has a challenging draw, facing the world number two, Coco Gauff from the USA. Gauff has won all three previous matches, including their encounter in Madrid this April.
Yulia Starodubtseva (67) will compete against wildcard holder Francesca Jones (125, Great Britain). This match will be a debut for both players.
The main draw of Wimbledon is set to start on Monday, June 30.
