Strengthening Ties: Vancouver and Odessa Forge New Connections
Since 1944, Vancouver (Canada) and Odessa have been fostering friendly relations, promoting cooperation in various fields for the benefit of both cities' residents.
Recently, students from Odessa Lyceum No. 2 and Queen Elizabeth School in Vancouver have begun a correspondence to strengthen friendships among children from both cities.
At the end of May, Vancouver is set to host Odessa Week, featuring themed photo exhibitions, cultural events, performances by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, film screenings, and gastronomic activities.
In preparation for Odessa Week, students from Odessa Lyceum No. 2 have created a video message for their peers.
The students also wrote letters to their counterparts and made posters about Canada and Odessa.
