Safety Online Lesson for Students
The National Police of Ukraine, together with the Security Service, has organized a unique online lesson for students aimed at preventing the recruitment of children into criminal activities.
Enemy forces are attempting to involve Ukrainian children in dangerous actions. Therefore, students received essential tips on how to identify threats and what to do if approached for recruitment into criminal acts.
Juvenile prevention officers have been conducting an awareness campaign about the dangers of recruitment by hostile forces for some time now.
«There are over 12,000 schools in Ukraine, and such lessons are held both online and offline. Make sure to tell your friends about the dangers of recruitment, so you don’t become a tool in hybrid warfare. Remember: informed means armed,» the police representatives stated.
To support children, famous boxer Oleksandr Usyk joined the campaign:
«Today, Russian intelligence services want to use you to harm Ukraine. Don’t fall for their tricks. Don’t let them turn you into a weapon against your homeland. Being cool means being smart,» the Ukrainian champion emphasized.
He advised the youth to inform their parents and teachers and to contact the National Police and SBU if strangers on social media offer money for dangerous acts.
«This is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones. Be smart, be strong, and don’t let anyone use you. We are Ukrainians, and we always win,» the athlete urged.
